Chapter & Cause began with a simple idea: good books still have value long after their first owner has finished reading them.
Instead of letting them sit forgotten on a shelf, we want to put them back into people’s hands — affordably, simply and with a purpose.
A book gets another reader. A reader gets a good book. And something good goes back into the community.

We sell pre-loved books at fair, simple prices and aim to use part of what we earn to support good causes in the local community.
As Chapter & Cause grows, we’ll share clearly where that support goes and the difference our customers help us make.
